As soon as this month, the internet may change forever. For the worst. Help keep it free.
A couple of days ago we became aware of the SOPA Protest by big names like Firefox, Tumblr and Reddit. SOPA means "Stop Online Privacy Act" - which is legislation written to stop piracy but could ultimately be used to pull any user generated content from websites without their control. Big web companies that include AOL, eBay, Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, Mozilla, Twitter, Yahoo and Zynga - are creating a movement to argue that SOPA:
"pose[s] a serious risk to our industry’s continued track record of innovation and job creation, as well as to our nation’s cybersecurity."
On November 16th, these websites they drew black lines on their websites because of the hearings held in the U.S. Congress to gain awareness. Here are some examples:

At SiteApps we believe that web should be free. No single government or company should have to power to legislate what happens. We also believe that legislation like SOPA could affect the web that we wanted to extend this protest that we created an app to continue the movement of awareness. Any site can add a "STOP CENSORSHIP" message to their logo.

There are some neat things you can do as well, such as only showing this app to users inside the United States. Also, check out SiteApps with this app installed:
