I came across a very interesting article in SEOmoz that discusses how pre-populating cursor help increases the form submission rate: 6 Essential PPC Landing Page Optimizations - http://www.seomoz.org/ugc/6-essential-ppc-landing-page-optimizations. They show a swell example where the first input in the form is already selected with a text bubble. There's a sweet screen capture of this.

I decided to update my Speech Bubble Tips for Forms APP http://siteapps.com/app/speech_bubble_tips_for_forms-47 to allow websites to automatically focus on the first input field with a tip already being show.
Here's an example of a regular form: regular_form.png and now the edited version as the article recommends: form_with_app.png
Hope this improves your bottom line!
