We are constantly enhancing the SiteApps platform to allow advanced and segmented implementations of apps on your website. We believe that "who" you target your app implementations can be the defining factor in an engaging user experience.

Besides the platform's default segments (such as search, returning visitors, and iPad users) we also offer integrations with BTBuckets and Google Analytics. And now we are happy to announce an integration with Rapleaf.
... and best of all: this integration can be done without ANY technical (Javascript, API, abracadabra) knowledge!
About Rapleaf
Rapleaf defines itself as:
Rapleaf is a San Francisco-based startup with an ambitious vision: we want every person to have a meaningful, personalized experience – whether online or offline. We want you to see the right content at the right time, every time. We want you to get better, more personalized service. To achieve this, we help Fortune 2000 companies gain insight into their customers, engage them more meaningfully, and deliver the right message at the right time. We also help consumers understand their online footprint.
Rapleaf offers free age and gender segments, and other richer segmentation opportunities. We believe that Rapleaf data can be a very important source of your personalization strategy.

To get started using Rapleaf data in SiteApps, you first have to request a Rapleaf site_ID. To request a site ID, you will need to contact Dan Scudder at Rapleaf (dan@rapleaf.com) and he will set you up with a site_ID and data dictionary. The Rapleaf website itself does not provide the ability to get a site_ID, so make sure to contact Dan directly
Once you have your Rapleaf site_ID and data dictionary, you need to feed this info into SiteApps. Either create a new active app implementation or edit a current one. Then select the Rapleaf option from the "who" integration. Then input your site_ID and upload your data dictionary. The Rapleaf segmentation data should now be available for all app implementations:

Then simply check the segments you would like to use for that app implementation.
We are always concerned with privacy. We recommend that you read and review Rapleaf's privacy page and make sure to let your users know you may be using their anonymous information for segmentation. Do also include the Rapleaf opt-out link available to them.
