Recently we announced the Google Analytics segmentation integration, which allows any website to implement an app for a specific user segment. Now we are launching our BTBuckets integration - which will allow any website to use clusters created in BTBuckets to segment apps in SiteApps.
BTBuckets allows websites to segment users based on advanced combinations of a plethora of user behaviors and characteristics. Below are the types of behaviors and user characteristics that you may use to bucket your users:
| Traffic Sources | Page Navigation Patterns | Web Events | Geographic Data | Technographic Information | ||||

Here's an example of how complex your segmenting can go with BTBuckets: Users from San Francisco on an iPad who are returning visitors to your site and viewed content about apples or oranges and which arrived on your site by searching for banana on Google:

Below are the steps necessary to setup the perfect SiteApps + BTBuckets integration:
Now you can create segments in BTBuckets and deploy segmented apps through SiteApps. First you have to create a bucket in BTBuckets. In the example below, we created a bucket for "converters":

Now we have to deploy a specific app for this user segment. In SiteApps, we would like to add a footer bar thanking these users for their purchase. Once we have purchased this free app and select to deploy it, we have to let SiteApps know we will be segmenting it. You will have to input your BTBuckets API code in SiteApps to be able to list the buckets for that site.

Notice the clusters (both default buckets and the one we created) you have in your BTBuckets account.
How about browsing the SiteApps website apps store thinking that any of the apps can now be deployed to practically any segment of your website visitors? That's a whole new world.
